Hotel a Mersea Island

“ We found the Victory Inn at Mersea to be very comfortable and the service was brilliant. Staff were especially helpful and the position was great for my 6 year old grandson as he spent lots of time in the play area and we could keep our eye on him. We will definitely be booking again for sometime in the summer for a longer stay.”

The first room n. 308 was very nice but unfortunately the air conditioning wasn’t working and nobody could repair it as it was a Sunday. We were moved to another room the day after. Can’t rooms be checked before the customers’ arrival?”

Breakfast amazing, even M&S zero fat Greek Yoghurt selection and perfect Avocado with lightly poached egg! Full English cooked fresh and looked very appetising. Will definitely return!”

“Facciata e parti comuni molto curate, ma la stanza era orrenda. Piccola e con affaccio su una scala di servizio esterna. L'armadio era inutilizzabile perché ingombro di un tavolo da stiro, termosifone e ventilatore (l'impianto di condizionamento...) che tirati fuori non avrebbero lasciato spazio per muoversi. “Molto comodo per chi viaggia da e per aeroporto , in zona non c’è molto , ma è fornito molto bene con un Mc donald di fronte e dei negozi . Nel piano superiore c’è un ristorante è un bar con la visuale della posta dell aeroporto ! Davvero consigliato ”

“Our stay at the Ship Inn was lovely - the rooms are perfect, the bed super comfy and ear plugs are provided for any noise from the pub downstairs (which we did not find a problem at all). Breakfast is continental but very lovely and we had a really nice stay. Also ate at the pub and would definitely recommend - all staff lovely and food really really good (and nice cocktails too at a good price!) ”
